Learn how to snowboard with coaches from Anchors Outdoor Adventures!
Our partner Anchors Outdoor Adventures is hosting this incredible opportunity for youth with T1D to learn how to snowboard with a 1-on-1 coach!
Free lift ticket included for T1D youth ages 8-18
All snowboards and gear are provided, but we need to get the riders sizes when you register. If you have your own snow gear, please bring it - as sizes may be limited.
Space is limited to 12 youth, so we are asking that this event is only for youth with T1D
Transportation is available for up to 15 people. If you’d like to go in the van we are asking that it is limited to 1 caregiver.
Lunch is provided, but bring lots of snacks and your own low treatments. There is a room available for caregivers in the lodge while their youth are snowboarding.
Waivers for Mt. Hood Meadows and registration with Anchors Outdoor Adventures are required to attend. Download the waivers and email the signed copies to admin@type1unbound.org. Please register under the name of the T1D youth.
If you have not already signed the Type 1 Unbound waiver for 2025, you can do that here: Link to Type 1 Unbound Waiver (1 per family per year)
If you need to cancel, please email admin@type1unbound before March 7th so that we can sign up people who are on the wait-list. Lift tickets are not transferable.
